Kithunu Gee Potha: A Sinhala Christian Hymn Lyrics App
Kithunu Gee Potha is a free hymn lyrics app developed for Sinhala Christians who believe in only One Living God. With over 842 songs, this app allows you to quickly search and view lyrics with ease. You can also zoom in and out of the text and share it with your friends even if your smartphone doesn't support Sinhala Unicode. The app features a black theme layout with white text for easy reading and battery saving. Additionally, users can add lyrics to their favorites list, drag and sort them, remove them one by one or all at once, and share them via email or social media apps. Other features include a simple guide to type Sinhala, a demo video link, and the ability to play audio songs of some Sinhala hymns through the internet. The app is used offline, except for playing audio, and there is a setting to show or hide hymn numbers.
The app also includes a feature to view the English version of the lyrics if the "Christian Hymn Book" app is installed. The developer, Chamath Silva, welcomes feedback, corrections, and new additions to improve the app. However, he kindly states that he will not include Roman Catholic hymns.
